This cactus came from California, I started it with one ear, it does not have the long stickers like all other cactus does. The flowers are more flat and 3 inch's a cross and is a liter green, It lives in Al. now and never dies down it winter.

Q... what makes your different than these http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opuntia_microdasys I grew these from wild to pots while in Texas so you have me wondering.

Yes they do have them,
LOL look out but taste so good, I have found out any were as long as you give them what they need. I live in Al. we don't have wenters like some states but it does get very, very cold here and mine ack like it never got out of the 80s
