You said it need a battery? But you said it keeps time beautifully...Does it work? How does it keep time beautifully if it needs a battery, and how do you know if it has never been used? Just a little confused...Can you please explain...

No one wore it...when my daughter received it was working and kept time on her dresser perfectly until the battery went dead and we put it up for auction. She had to have one with a second hand for nursing and this one doesn't have that.
