Description
Up for auction is a used xbox 360 arcade system. It includes what is seen in the picture. All the cables and a wireless control with AA battery pack.

The system has a reader issue. I don't know if it just needs cleaned or if it needs a new reader but some games you have to try to read 20 times before it will work. Some games play on the 1st try. I have heard that readers are fairly inexpensive, so if you want to replace it you'd still be getting a really cheap xbox 360.

It starts up no problem, loads the dashboard no problem. It would be a great unit to stick a huge hard drive on and play downloaded games or your downloaded movies.

The hard drive it comes with is a 20GB. It's empty with the exception of some Guitar Hero & Rock Band downloads. There are some Beatles, Metallica Death Magnetic, Godsmack, Rob Zombie, The Who and I don't know what else. All of the profile information and saved games have been removed, just the songs remain.

I was reading one of you early comments about skater wanting only the hard drive and controller and you said no one would buy the console only. I would :] I was looking for someone to sell their console only but I guess you still wont do it if I bid on it :[

It really irks me when people start attacking people who obviously have a great rep on Listia! Look people, she has 453 positive feedback, do you think she'd start scamming people NOW?? And for the guy who just wants the hard drive and controller, keep your eyes open on here, people list those all the time. I listed our old 20 gig hard drive couple months ago, and there were several listed before and after that too, so just be patient! Nice listing tammymom, don't sweat the people who doubt a good lister!! The replacement readers are anywhere from $15-$45 on amazon, just search 360 disc reader. There are videos online that will show you how to do the switch yourself.
