Also regarding the shipping cost, not everyone knows just how big these flutes are. This one is 21" long, they aren't small flutes but if you check my feedback from past auctions, they are well worth the shipping cost.
It looks beautiful! I'm sure well worth getting the stand , too! Shipping prices today are high , but that is what they are . I can't afford to do many with free shipping ,I was going broke doing that! I started out doing big stuff , but some were just off the charts! One thing I had was a subwoofer , the Post Office wanted $56 to ship to Calif!! I was in shock! (I was thinking it would be like $8 to $10 Hahaha!! I hadn't really shipped much in ages! Now I know better! But the length can make it pricey also .) You could try using a Tube(if you don't already), it might be a tad less. I just love these!!So nice!!
We make our own boxes so the flutes fit better, the actual shipping cost is usually between 5-7 bucks depending on which state it is going to (believe it or not certain states are more expensive), then when you take the cost of the bubble wrap, ect we just figure rounding it to an even $10.00 is the easiest way rather than trying to estimate each flute and where it's going. Considering the cost of these types of flutes can range from $50.00 and up, I figure $10.00 shouldn't be too hard to part with and we haven't had any complaints so far. :)
