Description

The listing, BLACKBERRY CURVE 8520 - mint condition has ended.

This is a Blackberry Curve 8520 smartphone in like new condition, barely used. It comes with a battery charger and the pink rubberized case. The phone is probably about 2 or so years old.

The instructions for the use of the phone are found here:
http://demos.blackberry.com/8520/na/us/gen/

I am not tech literate so any questions you ask, I probably won't know the answer to. But when i first got it, I looked online for the manual and found it easily.

The phone is a smart phone with a camera and enhanced storage capacity using a micro card. The phone turns on easily. I didn't use it but maybe once before I got the new phone (which is now outdated...lol).

This is an AT&T phone and takes a sim card. I had planned to use the phone with my prepaid plan. I had successfully used my previous smart phone with the prepaid plan without adding any data or text charges to the phone.

AT&T has pretty much dropped our area so I went to another company that has better reception in all the trees.

Suffice it to say that if I can't touch the screen, I can't use the phone...lol. But this is a great little phone with a lot of features and will be a good solid phone for anyone. Don't let the pink case fool you...lol.

Please note again that I do not know much about the phone's capabilities so if you want information, probably best to google for it. There is no damage to the phone anywhere, screen is in pristine condition, keys are sharp and functional. Like I said, very lightly used.

Again, any technical questions will probably be out of my league unless you can direct me where to find the information!

But it's free. Free shipping in the US too!

Please be courteous in your questions. Thanks for looking!

So it doesn't have a battery in it just a wall charger to plug it in to use?

No...how can I phrase this so it is clear to everyone? The phone is in mint condition. It has a battery. It has a wall charger. There is the phone. It has a case. It works spotlessly, effortlessly with a battery in place that has not been used much at all. It holds a charge like it should. Thanks for your question!

So sorry...the phone already has bids. I may have another old one but for the most part they're all AT&T phones. And it wouldn't be a smart phone but if you just need one for emergencies, let me know. thanks for looking!

Was this already used with a prepaid plan or contract? If it was used in a contract with AT&T, is the ESN clean?

It was a backup phone for a prepaid plan, needs a sim card. As far as the ESN clean, all I know is that theoretically it was reset back to factory settings. How would I tell if ESN is clean? (Sorry - told y'all I was not phone literate).

Somewhere in the settings is the ESN number (or I think it was in back of the phone). You would have to call your phone company and tell them that you plan on selling it to someone and need to know if the ESN is clean before selling it so the buyer can use it on his/her contract plan or for a prepaid plan.
If money is owed on the contract you had with this phone then the buyer can't use it. :-(

I'm sure the phone is clean and usable. Otherwise, I would not have had it. I had a prepaid plan with AT&T. Thanks for your interest and the information.
