I don't know if the buyer or seller realize this but this is a handle that twists apart into two pieces so that you can change the hook size inside of it. there are little rubber washers that go on the hooks to keep them from jiggling inside the handle. I LOVE this! i have two and use them all the time! also VERY comfortable for both overhand and underhand crocheters

without the washers you could still use it too, just use a bit of sports tape to build up the hook so it doesn't jiggle in the handle )
