Wii no longer has Wi-fi. The network was shut by Nintendo. Good system tho.

that's funny cause i just had it hooked to my daughter t.v. and was watching Netflix last week. through WiFi. when did that happen?

If you use flat rate shipping with the USPS it wont be that much to send it

Ok sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Now, I get my shipments through both USPS and FEDEX. USPS would be a much cheaper option for you to use especially if you use flat rate shipping.

Nintendo To Shut Down Wi-Fi Connection Service For Wii And DS In May

Nintendo is ending certain functionalities offered through the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection on May 20, 2014. The discontinued service will affect online play, leaderboards and matchmaking for many Nintendo Wii, DS and DSi games. Users of the consoles can still play the games in offline mode.

“Online play for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games will be unaffected (aside from the Wii mode on Wii U and Nintendo DS games on Nintendo 3DS family systems). Other online functionality, such as access to the Wii Shop Channel, the Nintendo DSi Shop and video-on-demand services, are also not affected at this time,” said Nintendo in a statement.

Beyond the closing date, the services that will keep working on the DS include the DSi Shop, DS Browser and DSi Browser. Netflix NFLX +0.22%, Hulu, the Wii Shop Channel, Internet Channel, Pay & Play and YouTube will continue running on the Wii. The Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection removal affects 20 Nintendo published games like Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii and Pokémon Black and White. Nintendo originally launched the Wi-Fi Connection service in November 2005.

On March 31, 2014, Nintendo will also shut down the Nintendo Video Service in Australia and Japan for the Nintendo 3DS. The Nintendo Video Service offered free 3D videos for the 3DS since July 2011.

ok, I don't know why everyone is saying so, bu I am watching You Tube via wi fi thru my grandkids Wii U console that they received for Chistmas right this minute and tho we haven't watched Netflix yet, we certainly did on the previous simply Wii console gaming system as late as Christmas Eve. :)

my children watched Netflix on it and you tube so I seen it play it. people are commenting on here that it don't but I watched it first hand as a matter of fact it will still have my Netflix account on I you will have to change the account info
