Tomato Summer Cider is a creamy textured juicy tomato with a delicate citrus flavor. A mid ripening, indeterminate, potato-leafed beefsteak tomato with apricot colored, extremely meaty, flattened fruits of 4-18 oz with a high ratio of flesh to pips. Whilst some consider its flavor slightly blander than Pink Brandywine, in some opinion the apricot colored fruit has a rich, almost peachy flavor.

It is ideal for sandwiches and makes an excellent addition to late summer salads and a fantastic colored, strong tasting sauce.

Like many beefsteak, once picked the fruit can quickly go over-ripe but, unlike many, this does not seem to affect the flavor, it maintains its richness and does not become mealy and dry tasting.
