I'm sorry to mention this but I believe this is a knock off. Most Sony cameras have the Sony label in the upper right hand corner. A large indicator of it being a knock would be if the Sony name is not in the printed materials that came with the camera. Could you take a picture of the whole face of the instruction manual?
