The listing, Super Scope 6 game only for SNES has ended.

Super Scope 6 for SNES. This is the game only! In order to play the game you need the gun controller for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. All the other games I got in the lot I bought work so it's very probable this one does as well but I don't know for sure. My son doesn't want it so it's not worth it to me to find the gun.

So the game has not been tested at all, or you just haven't used the gun on it?

Game has not been tested. Got it with several other games from the same garage sale. All the other games work. The previous owner said it worked prior to the gun breaking. I just never got around to finding a new gun for it and my son no longer wants it.

Have you put it in the system and tried it? If the game boots up, it's very likely that it works. Having a gun doesn't really matter to testing it if you have the system (which it sounds like you might)

Just asked my son, he said he did when I first got it and it told him to connect the gun. Hope that helps.

However if you do have the console, you might pop it in and see if you get the title screen to pop up. Would add some peace of mind. Even though these cartridge games are tanks, they do sometimes break :P
