Has it been tested to see if it still works? Most cartridge games are pretty resilient to what can happen to them while in the "Lost" state. It's not really scratches you should worry about, its the metal bar on the back side of the game that transfers the data to the DS. But, just because that looks good, doesn't really mean it works either, it's just a really good sign it probably does. Anyhow, fanned and watching :)

I'm sure it will work fine considering I was givin' a few pairs of jeans for my boys from someone and without looking in the pockets I tossed them in the wash. Needless to say a copy of The New SuperMario Bros was in one of the pockets. It went through a wash cycle in a tripple loader machine, then transferred to the dryer for 25min. The only damage done to the cartridge was it was a tad melted...lol. Game to this date still plays awesome. My husband keeps it for his use as I have a copy for the children. This goes to show that these cartridges can take a good washin' before you can destroy them....lol

Yeah. If there were only Nintendo products in the gaming world, I would be satisfied. They make, by far, the most durable gaming devices. Games and consoles. I just about never bat and eyelash when I have a chance to buy a Nintendo lot.

Krystal, I have had a similar experience with a regular game boy game, Mario Golf I believe. I picked it up at a garage sale and put it in my pocket. Well, like a normal male, I took off my pants at night and put them on the couch before I went to bed. So, my wife, being the awesome wife she is, took them down to the laundry and washed them. When I went down to switch the laundry, there it was. I do have tools to take the games apart, which I did so it could dry out. But besides that, It works like new LOL :). Wish I had a lot of money, cause I would invest in Nintendo.
