Beautiful ring! Hope I can scoop this up it's my daughters birthstone!!
Really I wonder why they listed it as real nanotechnology emerald in which case I listed it that way. Makes no sensense. Im gonna have to talk to my supplier cause they offer a lot of real gemstone and when they say real I figure it is real gemstone. I should do more research cause I am definitely no pro at this. Thanks for telling e..
It is a real "Nano Emerald", that is what they are called so your supplier is not misleading you. It's just not a "Natural Emerald", not something that was made in the earth. It is a lab created stone for the precious metal clay market and is heat stable. So in some ways it could be seen as preferable to a natural emerald which would change color intensity with heating.
When dealing with gem sellers it's always best to get clarification on whether or not something is "Natural" as apposed to "Real". Some people are objectionable to buying synthetic or man made gems because they consider them to be fake, but sometimes synthetic stones can be far superior to their natural counterparts. As long as you are not purposely trying to pass off synthetic stones as natural, (which you are not) it's all good. You listed this as a "Nano Emerald" which is exactly what it is, so no harm, no foul.
Probably a good idea, the more you know the less chance there is for a supplier to slip you substandard goods passed off as high quality. That way you don't get a bad reputation because someone else took advantage. Feel free to send me a message any time you have some questions, If I don't know the answer, I can probably point you in the right direction to find it.
