If you're trying to get a new phone, why are you using Listia? You sell things for credits, and the only thing you can use credits for is stuff on Listia. If you are expecting to get cash, please read about how Listia works. You're going to lose cash by shipping the laptop, and only get credits which HAVE to be spent here.

the only difference in ebay is that is real money and this you only get credits to use here.

No this is not like ebay. But it's not hard once you get the hang of things. I have been using eBay for about 15 years and when I came here it was a bit intimidating. But you will catch on.

Verifying who you are ensures Listians that you are not a scammer and just out to tie up someone's credits. They aren't being rude or mean they just want to make sure everyone is who they say they are. And to verify your account is really easy. There is a FAQ on here that can help. I haven't used Listia long and only a month ago finally won my first auction and have won about 7 since. I listed some things as well and it's quite fun once you get it :)

No it's nothing like eBay because you don't get charged a fee everytime you sell something this website is much much better. EBay has way to many hidden fees and also eBay has people way worse that don't believe your auctions when you first start so it takes about 2 minutes to get verified and its the easiest thing you have ever done...i don't see why you won't do it
