Neither, it's a replacement for a laptop keyboard, like say some of your keys don't work you remove that one and add a new one

Thanks for responding! Actually, I'm asking about how this is connected to your computer... is it usb? Or does it have the regular connection that goes into the back of a desktop computer? Maybe, could you just take a picture of the end of the cord that you plug in? I really want to bid but I'm scared is the wrong connector. You can check my feedback stats. I'm not a scammer.

I'll take another picture if it's not clear enough but there are two pictures on here that show the strip you connect to the inside of the laptop

Yes, All the keys worked, my dad had just bought it to replace another keyboard and after he put it in, the computer overheated and wouldn't turn back on
