Thank You All for peeking at My Goodies, This Big Bold Old Brooch is a "Cat", Excellent condition and very different. After doing some checking, I did find out it is a "Dodd's Cat Brooch".....
I have No Clue if the HUGE Stones are REAL or not but they are faceted and set in 4 prong settings. The Gold looks real but it is NOT STAMPED. This is a very old Piece as it's been with much Vintage Jewelry for years.

This Cat measures 1-3/4" long by 1" at the widest point. The ears have an AMBER Faceted stone and the Face has a little Darker color Amber faceted Stone and the Belly is a much Darker Stone, like maybe a Topaz, all 4 prong set with Rhinestones for the collar by the whiskers. This has great detail even down to the Tail.
The Pin is in "EXCELLENT" condition. Any questions please ask.

Absolutely adorable. I did google Dodds brooches and an article stated that all true Dodds brooches are signed. Stated that at one time there were little kits that people bought and they could actually make the brooches themselves, and they looked like Dodds. It stated that Dodd's brooches are never set in prongs. Do we believe everything on google? No......but I really do like this piece you offer. I love brooches!!!! Signed or unsigned!! I had never heard of Dodds so that is why I looked it up to learn more, and this was the first article that came up. F & W

Hi and Thank You for Peeking. A Friend had said it looked like a "Dodd's", so I Googeled it and Most of the Dodd's are big and Bulky exactly as This is. That's why I said it looks like a Dodd's. It's very cute to say the least. Many Blessings
