It is yarn i also make them with netting and i honestly like these ones better i have 5 in rotation in my kitchen made over a year ago haven't used a sponge since or soap to rinse dishes they work amazing

Youtube i wanted something that would work like a sponge and made a bunch of different things till i found these im still learning how to crochet and youtube has amazing videos that teach you.
