Spring loaded, they make cutting a breeze and enable you to maintain an even cut, even in the smallest of areas. The cover keeps them closed and helps keep the sharp ends safe. They are 4 1/2" long.

with a magnifying glass? These are teeny tiny. Ok - not quite THAT teeny tiny. But excellent for making teeny tiny cuts! I actually have a pair myself that's good for all sorts of things - snipping threads off of buttons or other clothing, crafts, even getting those rogue eyebrows that want to be chin hairs (ok, ewe, I know but they work!) Oh, and they are great for making jewelry too - which is good as that's what they are designed for. Snipping the ends of beading wires/threading.
