I'm new at this so could you, if you have the time and patience, explain MB vs GB and also how much one holds vs the other. Thanks so much. My kids tell me I should get one for my new tablet.
Honestly, this is not the one you want for your tablet. A Megabyte (Mb) is 1/1000 of a gigabyte. This micro SD card is only good for cameras or transferring transferring files or documents, not mass storage. To put it into perspective, a typical Mp3 is about 5 or 10 Mb, which means you could only store 15 or 20 Mp3s on it. An image (jpg) from a camera is about 200 Kilobytes (kilobyte = 1/1000 of a Megabyte) So you could put several hundred photos on it. This is a Micro SD card that came with an old camera of mine, and I immediately replaced it with a larger one.
Don't give up hope; there's still two days left on the auction... Plus it's still good for pictures and file transfers. If you want to give some pics to relatives or somebody, Just load it up and send it in a card or something.
