The listing, Mysterious Coin has ended.

I wound up getting this coin in a bulk lot that I bought. I tried researching it to no avail. It has a small hole drilled in top. It is very thin and non-magnetic. Any information is appreciated!

That was my original thought as well. I can not find any other coins like it online. I am not sure it is that old or if it is a replica. I do not want to mislead anyone. It is still a cool piece either way.

Civil war tokens were merchant made "pennies" used when the Federal Government stop making pennies. This did not happen during the WWI. I tried to research when WWI was initially called Great World War and although I found references that made it the same period as WWI. I could not find when it was first used. I am guessing this may be an item provided with the purchase of the PBS special or something like that. Usually such items identify themselves to their origin.
