It is a tragic story about this young, very talented, and very confused woman. As with Billy Holiday, Marilyn Monroe, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, John Belushi, John Entwhistle in years gone by, she died of excess; not merely an excess of drugs, but rather an excess of fame and fortune. Even sadder, and perhaps ironic, is that same fame and fortune is just what so many of us long for. It's why we nearly worship, adore and secretly emulate celebrities. Neverthless, the talent which flowed from the heart of these people, remains a treasure that is worth our appreciation....and their troubles present the opportunity for a vicarious LifeLesson. Thank you for offering this precious piece of history to the Listia Community to consider. Namaste.
