Alrighty-here's the deal. This camera has been my baby for the past year and 2 months. I paid our phone company 169.99 for it, and had it repaired at the Fujifilm Company in New Jersey which cost an extra $86 to repair the LCD screen, after having it drop on the kitchen floor while chasing my 4 year old. lol (Very interesting story!) They did a fantastic job on repairing it and I haven't had a bit of trouble with it, until now. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble getting it to pick up charge. It comes on for a sec, and then goes right back off. I don't have any more funds to put into this little buddy SO, I'm hoping one of you techy geniouses MIGHT be able to fix it. It takes AMAZING pics, EVEN IN THE DARK! (Providing you can get it to stay on. There is also a little piece on the side that is popped out a tad (think that MIGHT be the problem) and like I say, I'm terrified to mess around with it, as it is worth quite a bit, and I don't want to damage it anymore. It worked perfectly fine until 3 hours ago, now, it won't stay on for some reason. Here are some specs on it........

This camera has a core specification of 12 Megapixels, 3x Fujinon optical zoom lens and a 3.0" LCD screen, it includes features such as Panorama shooting mode, easy shooting modes and offers a variety of scene modes.
This will come with a USB cord, charger, original box, and a Fujifilm camera case. :)

does it turn off right away... it could be the battery... i had a problem with an electronic device i got a new battery from someone and it worked again

It comes on for a sec, shows full battery, then it shows the blinking red battery, THEN it shuts off. :( It's a possibility it's the battery. IF nothing else, it can be shipped back to New Jersey, and they'll repair it for cheaper than it would cost to buy a new one. :)

Okay, I just tried to charge the camera and it won't detect the charger SO, I'm guessing the problem is either the charger or the battery. Another charger can be gotten from either Ebay or from New Jesey (I'll include the shipping details and phone number). And a battery can be purchased from Amazon for $14. I will continue to look for the other battery. Just thought I'd give an update :)

Sorry-another update!! There is now no piece sticking out on the side!! I was able to fix that part, wasn't hard at all! The camera is also very clean, and I've determined the charger is NOT the problem, so it definitely must be the battery.

Thank you!! As I've said though, I'm having a fanning issue! lol I'm trying to fan people and it won't let me! I'm frozen at exactly 1,000 peeps I've fanned and I can't find anyone who can tell me if there's a limit as to the number of peeps you can fan...I hope not!! :( Thanks for the fan though! :) I'm gonna get to the bottom of this fanning issue! lol
