The listing, 320 Gb Western Digital "MY Passport" External Hard Drive has ended.

This is New but the outer case has been removed. My other hard drive's case broke so I'm using this one's case. I plugged it in once and made sure that it works and it does. This already includes WD software on the drive. My college roommate used legos as an outer case so just throwing out some ideas. Like I said, this is New just without the plastic casing.

It is USB which I guess would be IDE because It is sadly not SATA.

You are not allowed to have conflicting conditions. Your listing shows free shipping but your description includes a condition of shipping. You can go to edit and change this before someone bids. Otherwise, Listia will be on the side of the buyer, I think. Anyway, I am interested. If you change to 'buyer pays shipping', how much to send to 72120?

As Much as I know on it, I believe Yes you can hook it up to any laptop or desktop and it also comes with a USB connection cord for externally use. Works the same either way.Thanks

can you post the model number of the drive? it should be like "wd3200bevt" or something similar.

According to the model number, this is neither SATA nor IDE. It is a proprietary WD interface.
