Description
The listing, 14k Gold Adorable Panda with Open Heart Charm has ended.
Offered for your consideration is this adorable little gold Panda charm. The little Panda features an open heart, as well as cut outs on the legs and eyes. He measures 5/8+" long and 9/16" at his widest (the lower legs). Mr. Panda is thin gold (the pictures make him look a little thicker...that 10 pounds cameras add on I guess) and there are several stamps on the back. There is a gold loop hanging from one ear.
I will be listing a total of three gold charms today, so please check out my other auctions.
Thank you for looking
Questions & Comments
Thats a really cool charm. However, I can't make out the markings. Can you tell me what they say? Thank you!
Ummmm...I can't make them out either, even with my jeweler's loupe. A friend brought this back from the Beijing Zoo about 20 years ago, and I remember the card all being in Chinese with a sticker on the outside of the plastic that stated "14k Gold" in English (my friend knew better than to get me anything less than solid gold!). I always just assumed the markings were either maker's marks or Chinese. Unfortunately I don't have the original packaging to prove that little nugget of info to you. However, if an acid test in any way proves it isn't 14k, I would be more than happy to make amends. Pandas are good karma and I'd hate to disrupt that.
Lol! You're so sweet! I love Panda's! This piece reminds me of some characters in a Japanese anime movie. Not the ones like sailor moon but one or two that made it to the US theaters. I can't remember the name though. Anyway, I was thinking the markings might be characters. Maybe one of them is the Chinese character for 14k gold?
