Straw-grass?...states 'Indian Museum",Somers,Conn & def at least vintage...fabric is fragile & needs a few stitches-SOFT weave & WONDERFUL pastel tones! Leather strap may have held a papoose?...hair may have been cut? She is still beautiful,full of character & would LOVE a home w/friends for the holidays & forever!
