Offered for your consideration is an unopened SWAG sample of Patchouli Eau de Cologne. Or, as this is from an Italian maker, Patchouly.

Since nobody's invented smell-o-vision yet (which is probably a good thing since the cats watch a LOT of Animal Planet), I'll try and describe this very unique scent.

If you're an aging hippie or still dress like Stevie Nicks, chances are you have fond memories of this aroma that was popular in the 1960s and 70s. If you're too young, or have lost too many brain cells, Patchouli can best be described as.....

From the Urban Dictionary: 1) A pungent scented oil usually worn by those who live an alternative or bohemian lifestyle. ie: Artist, musicians hippies, bikers, punk rockers etc. 2) Hippie perfume ... smells like forest, pot and snuggling 3)Used throughout the 60's and 70's not just as an excuse not to bathe, as some people claim, but to cover the scent of Smoke, Drink and Drugs on clothing.

From The Inside of the Card: A persistent perfume, whose woody ad balsamic timbre shades in a blend of bergamont, geranium, and mint. For egotist who knows no frontiers.

From My Take: After a few minutes, the heady aroma takes on a distinctive essential-oil undertone which is unique in a cologne.

Okay, now about the product. The cologne was made in Italy by Etro. The information on the inside of the card is in both English and Italian. The vial measures just shy of 2", contains 0.05 fl oz. (which is larger than most samples), and is glass with a rubber stopper and dabber. This sample is unopened and affixed to the card.
