and when you connect this to your computer's USB, it will automatically ask you what you want to do (view files, download files etc). No program or file download is necessary.

I have had this camera for a few years. It is a great camera and takes excellent pictures.
About 2 weeks after I got this camera, my (then 4 year old) daughter accidentally scratched the lens. (there is a picture with the scratch circled)
It DOES NOT AFFECT QUALITY of PICTURES!

Up til today, ALL my previous auction pictures were take with THIS CAMERA. When using the maco setting (the little flower setting), it takes excellent close ups.

Questions & Comments

I have several questions:
1. Is this a camera
2. does it take other lenses
3. is it dslr
4.will you GIN
5. if you will not GIN, will you perhaps do a "get it now" kind of thing.
6. do you know the brand of this GE camera
7. I see your dogs do not smoke- do they drink or have an addiction problem of any kind.
8.I see it has blink detection.If I blink will an alarm go off, or will it say you blinked and if so will it say it in english because that is the only language I am fluent in, ooorrrr.....how will I know is what I'm trying to get at. ;) ;) ;)

1. Yes, I believe it is a camera. It appears to be one, so I will say yes.
2. No, it does not take any other lenses. I tried to make it take foreign objects and it protested.
3. No, it is not a dslr, unless dslr stands for: Digital Super Looking Rig-a-mah-jig.
4. No, I don't do GIN or tequila....I prefer beer, as previous experiences with Captain Morgan & Jose Cuervo have proven to be embarrassing evenings for everyone involved.
5. Again see number 4 as that falls into the, "No you can't have it now" scenario with those type of beverages.
6. I believe it to be a GE camera. It has never gotten "wild" enough that I felt it needed to be 'branded' like the other cattle.
7. As far as I know they do not have any other addictions. Although they did try to be like the "cool dogs" in the *dogs playing poker & pool* portraits and drink excessively but that had to be stopped as none of them are able to hold their "lick-er".
8. If you blink when the blink detection is engaged, it will show a little sad face on the LCD display and say, "You just missed it...try again dummy".

Also, it is can be programmed in English, Spanish, French & Portuguese.
Although I don't think it's familiar with smart-a$$ or sarcasm. (lol, but I am)

I own two of these cameras, I got them both on listia, they are excellent cameras and easy to learn how to use. If you want a better camera consider this one, I use one for all my auctions and the other for traveling, The 15x zoom is awesome and that's my 2 cents worth! Good Luck Everyone! :)

Oh good question that I forgot to add! Thank you! YES, it does take a SD memory card.
The 13th picture shows the battery compartment open. That blue card that says "push to eject" holds a memory card.
I am including a 2gb SD memory card with the camera.
