With a cover price of just $3, it was filled will hard-to-find Grand Prix information and wonderful period photographs showing all the cars that raced back then – all in black and white.

Like its cover proclaimed, “Complete specifications, Racing History & Records PLUS Circuit Maps.” From the popular grand prix Ferraris and Mercedes-Benzes within its 184 pages there were also profiles on all the lesser known makes such as A.F.M., Alta, Connaught, E.R.A., H.W.M., Tec-Mec and Veritas. Profiles of other top team race cars include Alfa Romeo, B.R.M., Gordini & Simca, Lancia, Lotus, Maserati, O.S.C.A, Porsche, Talbot-Lago and Vanwall.
