The listing, Antique Hand Beaded 1920's Flapper Girl Vest! has ended.

This was hand made with glass beads in the 1920's by my great aunt. It CANNOT be worn, as it's very fragile. There are a few flaws where some beads have come off, but nothing that's obvious. Both shoulders have a worn hole due to the sheer weight of all the beads. I've included photos of the holes. This piece is ONLY for a collector or display piece. My aunt DID wear it, but it's too fragile now. If this were framed in a glass shadowbox it would make a REALLY cool display conversation piece!!!

so tempting. Any idea what size it is? I'm thinking it would look really good on a partial mannequin display body and shadowbox framed. I'm surprised you haven't found a museum or fashion school interested in it.

Honestly, I haven't looked into any museums or fashion schools.. It's about a size 4, I'm guessing. I've always kept it wrapped in acid free tissue and packed safely. I've never tried to size it.
