Scallop Yellow Bush is a bush type squash that produces nice yields of flat, round fruit.

Many times called Patty Pan Squash.
Patty Pan or Scallop Squash were described in literature from the 1700's in early colonial America.

They were one of the squashes domesticated by the Native Americans and grown by northern tribes.

Yummalicious when harvested at the 2-3 inch size when they are delicate, tender and beautiful lightly steamed, seasoned and plated with the main course.

They are very easy to grow and extremely flavorful.

Stuff them for an amazing meal!

Patty Pan always seem to be a real hit at farmers market.

Eat the skin! It is said to be very high in betacarotene.

These are tasty! I had lots of blooms on the white ones last year, but almost all were male. Want to give it another try this year, with the yellow. F&W

Yes, I love these 'Patty Pan' variety squashes. I make a squash casserole type thing out of them with stovetop stuffing, onions and butter. I have the Green type, White and Golden/yellow to list eventually still. Good luck on bidding. :-)
