The reason I say it is for Xbox One only is because it came with my console. I had it up on listia before and someone won the auction hoping to use it for 360, but it didn't work for him and we settled on a friendly agreement.
YOU MUST HAVE A SILVER LIVE ACCOUNT TO REDEEM THIS CODE, IT WILL NOT STACK WITH YOUR CURRENT XBOX LIVE SUBSCRIPTION. KEEP IN MIND, THIS IS A TRIAL FOR GOLD SO SOME FEATURES MAY BE RESTRICTED. To my knowledge, all matchmaking and party services are still enabled because I was able to access them while using the other trial. (Came with two) I DO KNOW that the free gold games they give every month CANNOT be downloaded with the trial. You will need a full 1 month subscription to do so.
If you have a Xbox One & 360, you should have no problem redeeming this code on your Xbox one then using your 360 with the same gamertag to go online (I may be wrong) but since the gold associated with the account is shared between consoles, it only seems right.
