The listing, Zippo "The Cent Never Spent" Fob Vintage Collectible has ended.

Offered for your consideration is this vintage Zippo (tm) advertising premium from the1960s, "The Cent Never Spent to repair a ZIPPO product."

If you're familiar with Zippo, then you know what this penny represents. If you're not, it represents the fact that Zippo never charges for repairs to any of its Zippo products, no matter how old.

The penny is dated 1967 (that makes it real copper and worth zillions) and the size is, well, about the size of a penny :). The casing is steel and imprinted with the above tag line. A nice unusual addition to the Zippo aficionado's collection.

If I am correct these pennies are the pennies that they pull out of the wishing well at the visitors center at the zippo factory.
Mine also has a tag printed zippo visitor center and explains about the factory.
