This is a special piece of jewelry! It was given to me by someone who purchased it in Arizona at a Navajo Indian reservation only a few years ago.

The stone is a genuine reconstituted turquoise cabochon cut 1.5" x 1". Reconstituted simply means that they use pressure to join turquoise chips, creating a larger stone; this is evidenced by the lines you see (fyi - most turquoise stones on the market are reconstituted). The band is definitely silver plated because it bends a little, making the cuff easier to put on and off. The setting may be pure silver though it does not have any marks that I can see through the band. The design surrounding the stone is a classic Native American motif which makes this piece certifiably vintage, classic and genuine. You'll love it!!
