Description

The listing, PREMIUM CRYSTAL PRISM LOT, 10 Asst. Premium Crystals/Lightcatchers, Jewelry, Feng-Shui, has ended.

Welcome, my lovely bidders!! I bring to your attention, and for your consideration, a truly flashy offering. Up for the block this time is a LOT of 10 fine Premium Crystal Prisms. I've put together an assortment of shapes, sizes and types of crystal prisms, and I'll be sending them to you in a nifty Draw-String Pouch with 9 small crystal hearts and beads depending from the bottom, and shiny, silver thread draw-strings with shiny tassels.
None of these prisms are those cheap plastic things. Each and every one is a fine Crystal Prism that you can use for a multitude of purposes. I've seen these used in stunning jewelry pieces, as light-catchers for Feng Shui and wind chime type mobiles, as parts of multi-media sculptures and light fixtures, and, of course, as parts of chandeliers.

There you go, that's the right spirit to have going into a competition! And never think it's NOT a competition, there are some of the most cutthroat bidders on listia that I've seen ANYWHERE! But there's only one way to beat em at their own game, and that's to be better at it than they are, lol!! I have faith in you.

According to usps.com, 1st Class Parcel postage to Canada is $7.65, irrespective of province. I do combine shipping, and 1st Class Parcel postage covers up to 13 Oz, which leaves 9 Oz of weight remaining after the Crystal Prism Lot if you want to bid on more than just the one item. Thanks for your interest in my auction, I wish you the best of luck if you choose to bid.
Namaste!

Yeah, does seem a bit of a dichotomy, doesn't it? I'm offering TEN TIMES AS MUCH, PLUS The nice bag with the jeweled Danglies, AND all my work at nicely displaying and choreographing the whole lot! Doesn't seem fair that currently the bid is only 600 credits above what the single crystal went for. Oh, well, perhaps the better bids will come pouring in over the remaining day and a half, and my faith in the intrinsic goodness of man will be borne out.
Namaste!
Blessed be,
Victor

OK - I've been watching this from basically the beginning and have placed my bid - but ''sniping is now in vogue '' I detest it if i follow an auction and been bidding along the way and... suddenly some one from nowhere jumps in with a bid 4 times higher than mine ... where were you the past 14 or whatever days ?

Aryanto, I hear you! BUT, I don't know how to stop them from doing it. It's technically not against the rules, so even flagging the snipers will do no good. The only solution I've found is to be on hand when the auction ends, and come armed for bear!! Anymore, when I've been bidding an item, I always try to be on hand when the auction ends, and I start at about 90 seconds to go by making a good sized bid. If someone tops it, I do my best to beat that bid, and to go back and forth with it until auctions end. If no one responds to my first bid, I try to hold back several thousand credits, and, especially if I am high bidder, I always bid as much as I have to bid at t-minus 5 seconds. That way, if there's a sniper lurking, whichever one of us has the highest final bid will win the auction, and even if I lose, I know it's because I didn't have enough credits to win, NOT because I got sniped. I also have the satisfaction of knowing that the winner, if not me, was forced to pay FAR MORE THAN THEY WANTED TO to beat me out for the item. It's not a perfect solution, but it's all I've been able to come up with! I hope that helps, it seems like in this new age, you have to have a touch of bloodthirstiness to excel at winning auctions, lol!

I love this auction as well. I will bid, but I see there are quite a few watchers and hardly any bids. It really chaps my hide! You think you have something that you really want, and they lurk out there in cyberspace and swoop down with 2 seconds left. And that is the end of your auction. So if I get overbid, I believe I might lurk too.

Picture?type=square&access token=105469222550%7cd qfyki0ggnddypmnoq3ykmtsyq
Yup, you've got it right, Kala! This set has been on display and counting down for 18-19 days, now, and it has received only 22 bids for a high of 5600 credits, or about $5.60. In truth, that's almost an insult given the prize. I have to HOPE that all the folks that have written, and the ones who claim they really need it are waiting for the 11th hour to bid, because the alternative is this set going for such a low total that it will dissuade me from further offerings of this quality! From your point of view, if it was me, I'd be hovering at t-minus 20 seconds and counting, with a substantial bid to place in the hope that yours will be high enough to overwhelm everybody elses best bid! The last auction I tried to win that was like that, the bid hadn't moved in 48 hours, so I bid to make it move and was immediately overbid by the high bidders automatic high bid, so I made my own 'Highest Bid', and I made it 48,000 credits higher than the previous high bid, and I settled down to wait for T-minus 15 seconds to click the 'Place Bid' button. At 7 seconds to go, the high bid was 46,500 credits, and I hit the 'Confirm Bid' button for a 'Highest Bid' of 100,111 credits...10 seconds later when the auction closed, I was outbid and the winning bid was 111,223 credits. So you just never know, it all depends how badly someone wants them, and how high they are willing to go for them... but it appears that the final sniper has become a tradition, and whichever bidder is willing to go the highest in that last 20 seconds is very often the winner. Thanks for your interest in my auction, I wish you the best of luck should you decide to bid!
Namaste!
Blessed be,
Victor

Yeah, I really like the bag, too, but it just fit with this lot entirely too well, so I had to include it. It's the only one of it's kind that I've seen, so I hate to give it up, but we must all make sacrifices. I have more of the crystals, but not the bag. Thanks for your interest in my auction, and good luck if you decide to bid!

Why thank you senecagem, I appreciate that! It just seemed to me that people might enjoy a good mix of various high quality crystals, so they can use and re-use them in whatever unique and creative way that they come up with! Truly, I almost requested folks to post a picture or two after they win just to see what they did with them! I think that would be fascinating!!

According to the USPS.com website, Postage for 1st Class International Package is $9.15...The least expensive Priority Mail option is $24.75. I assume you'd prefer the 1st Class option, but I will send it priority if that's your preference.
