I just wanted to help you out here, the Onix is still a reverse holographic. The stamp at the corner, where it says "Team Rocket Returns" is a clear indication. Not just that, look at the symbols on the actual foil, their energy symbols, this type of reverse holo was similarly used in the EX FireRed & LeafGreen expansion. I'm positive that this holo foil design was limited to Team Rocket Returns and FR&LG. The expansion after Team Rocket Returns was EX Deoxys which featured a "wheel pattern" and the EX Deoxys logo in the lower right hand corner of the picture.

Reverse Holographics were changed from the standard "rare holograhpic foil" starting with the release of EX Hidden Legends. For a while, every expansion the design of reverse holo's was changed. I'm not sure when they did away with this type of reverse holographic and decided to just keep one style (which is what Timburr is). But it seems that the old style is obsolete now, and only rare's are holographic now. I suppose people just kept getting confused.

I'm a collector as well, I've been collecting since the release of the Basic expansion in north america. I've been collecting a while.

I stopped some time around EX Dragon, the one shop that carried them stopped carrying booster packs. So I was forced to stop, I picked it back up when I realized Wal-Mart carried them, I was so happy!

I give away my duplicates here on Listia, I give some of them to a friends nephew, but it just feels better knowing I can get something in return with the credits. Rather than nothing back at all. I could sell them online, but eBay costs to list auctions, not to mention...you still have to pay for the listing even if it doesn't sell. It's stupid, that and I'm not selling a Holographic Rare for $1-2 per card.
