If I ship it in a bubble envelope it should be approx $6, not very safe that way though.
If I ship it in a small box it would be approx $8.50, cost a little more but much safer.

it is 1 stick of 2 gig, I pulled the pic off the internet. DDR3 is for newer systems, I'm not sure if it's buffered or not you can check the specs to see. I have no idea if it will work on a notebook. The easiest way to find out if your notebook can handle DDR3 is to google the name and model number of your notebook, if you can't find any info that way you can open it up and find the make and model number of the motherboard and google that.

@GryphonCat, this is ddr 3, it will not fit in your IBM I think, if it's older , it most likly takes DDR, maby DDR2 at best. open the back memory cover and look at your memory stick and read the specs. They are easy to take out and put back, just pay attention to how they go in before you pull it out so you know how it goes back in!

Sorry, I have no idea if it would work on a Mac Book... All I can suggest is to google the make and model number and see what info you can find on it.
