The listing, 1930's TRAIN RAILROAD STEWARDESS BUISNESS PHOTO CARD RARE COLLECTIBLE SAN FRANCISCO STREAMLINER! has ended.
Very slightly larger than a "Modern" buisness card I estimate this to be about 2 inches by three inches long.
Item comes in a hard plastic "Top-Loader" as shown in the photo for protection and display
On the card is a photo of the actual Stewardess, a Ms Papnick who rode the Chicago and North western, the Union Pacific and the famed Streamliner out of San Francisco and traveling east to Chicago where she lived.
Ms Papnick wears the Stewardess uniform of the day complete with 'Winged' cap.
In the 1930's you were allowed to give gratuities (Tips) to the personel at all stages of the trip and so it would not be uncommon to actually ask for service from Ms Papnick! Thus the card was given as a salesperson of today would leave you with thiers to promote good buisness.

Hint, I had NEVER seen anything like these until I I aquired quite a few from an estate sale years ago in Pelham New York. There are not many left as I sold many on ebay in the 1990's and early 2000's.
