This is a pretty cool piece of memorabilia, it is from the Louisville slugger museum. This end came off the end of a bat of one of the New York Mets players. I got to take it out of the bucket as he cut it off, it was a bat for someone on the mets!!!

Hi, I am sorry, I really have nothing to add to it to authenticate it. I went there on vacation and the just happened to be doing pro bats, and so the guy let us pick out of the bucket from the pro bat ends. I only know cause I was there. I'm sorry
