it's a sterling mark. I don't remember the country. But I know it is sterling. It a great weight for chocker even.

and when I had it tested along with some other items they were impressed how high the quality of the piece was. The lines of the moon and stars are so correct. I can try to get another photo later today of the impression if you would like. I Think it was English sterling. It was a crest or an animal. It's about the size of a needle head. Just let me know if you need another picture.
