Hi michellehanson, yes the coat is black color& the back straps in back will loosen for more room in front"thank you for your comment; but I can't be completely sure if it will fit a size 18? iam a size 14 fits good with straps pull together.

Thank you for your comment; yes the color is black & the straps on back will loosen for more room in front of coat"iam a size 14 fits good with straps tight.I believe it will fit you with straps loosen.
