Description

The listing, 8 inch Snake EURO Charm bracelet ~Choose Your Favorite ~Get it NOW ~ BARGAIN price! has ended.

Win an 8-inch bracelet marked on the clasp (see comments for details) -- YOUR choice! With Get It Now you also get a silver stopper ~~ for about what you'd pay for a $6 gift card on Listia, a nice bargain particularly with free shipping! Get your watch bid in now and come back to win. Please keep in mind you get a bracelet, and a stopper with GIN ~~ no color beads are included.

An 8-inch bracelet fits MOST women when it is full of beads, but if you (or the recipient) has larger than normal wrists, you may need a larger size--please see my cuff bangle and adjustable bracelets also on Listia.

The silver stopper opens on a hinge and clips on the end (see photos), which prevents your beads from flying off when you open the clasp, VERY handy!

Please note this is NOT a solid silver or sterling bracelet. It is marked 925 on the clasp, but the snake part of the bracelet is not sterling. NONE of my European charm jewelry items are the P-word I am suddenly not allowed to mention, or any other name brand~~all are costume jewelry versions of the expensive stuff, and a lot more fun and affordable to win and collect!

My photos show bracelets made with some of the MANY beads I have on Listia ... check them out to complete a gorgeous bracelet! The silver spacers between the beads really make them sing, and I have a BUNCH of choices on Listia ~~ create the perfect bracelet for YOU!

Free US and Canada shipping too! I ship on Tuesday after my listings end Sunday and Monday nights--keep an eye on those for some bargains!

Please don't ask me to fan you. I'll fan you if I'm a fan, you don't even have to ask!

Many long-time sellers, including myself, have been treated very badly by a moderator known as ListiaTy in the past two days. If you have also been a victim, I invite you to comment. I am trying to find a Listia executive I can contact, but might not be able to do that. If you have an e-mail for a Listia owner, please let me know.

I am not sure I am willing to continue for much longer with Listia. I don't mind dealing with all the children and irresponsible adults on Listia, but when moderators start acting the same way, it leaves me sad and discouraged.

UPDATE: The moderator and I have been having what I hope will be a productive exchange or correspondence. I recommend that anyone whose listing is removed submit a ticket to DEMAND to know why, specifically, their listing was removed.

My hope is that this issue will encourage Listia to remove any benefits for flagging (i.e. the badges and leaderboard standings) and require moderators to explain why a listing was removed each time they do so (i.e. not just because someone flagged it). Also, I think Listia needs to pay or compensate moderators in some way so they can more effectively hold them accountable.

If you have any other suggestions, please post them here or on one of my other listings and I will pass them on.

I think that you are very honest and kind seller with a perfect 100% feedback to be treated like that, anybody deserves to be treated that way. :{

Thanks, I appreciate it. I've seen a lot of people give up on Listia because they got tired of the member kooks, but I've never heard of anyone driven out by a moderator. Unless I can get in touch with someone in authority at Listia to get this resolved, I will have to stop using Listia. I put too much time and effort into this to wonder when my next batch of listings will disappear with no warning.

I should say: ..."nobody deserves to be treated that way". I think one of the problem is that there is no a good resolution forum or support for the sellers here. A good feedback and the honesty must be taken into consideration. Sometimes they are very partial here when suppose to be the contrary.

Absolutely. Make no mistake about it, the owners of Listia are running a business, with the goal of making money~this is not some sort of charity or public service, no matter how they spin it. They make money by selling advertising. They have LOTS of advertising on Listia, and Listia should be ensuring the integrity of their business by using moderators who are trained, and are at risk of losing their jobs if they make too many mistakes~~not asking members to do it for free.

Being a moderator on a site like this is a very difficult and time-consuming job. Granted, most web sites/discussion boards etc. have moderators, but they don't deal with nearly the volume of information that Listia generates every day. This should not be a playground for law enforcement wannabees.

The actions of a moderator have a HUGE impact on individual members, and we are ALL buyers AND sellers on Listia. Moderators should be hired for their skills, trained, and held accountable by a higher authority. And, members should have SOME recourse when impacted by a moderator. I've pointed this out to Listia many times, when moderators have removed listings of mine for no apparent reason (someone flagged it I guess, also for no apparent reason). But taking down TWENTY ONE auctions at one time, with no explanation or warning, is simply abusive.

Another thing that is driving me crazy is that NO COMPANY can "own" a word such as Pandora. Pandora is a mythological and fictional character, a common name, and is part of the common vernacular. Hello Kitty is another example ... how can someone "OWN" those words???

If I want to say my item is similar to a Pandora or Hello Kitty or Coach product, that is NOT illegal. These companies are strong-arming web sites like ebay and now, apparently, Listia, threatening legal action if they allow sellers to hawk conterfeit products.

With rare exception, people are Listia are NOT selling counterfeits. They are selling products that are similar to things that have brand names attached to them~~not products intended to deceive. And most of our sellers are not trying to deceive buyers.

I've sold THOSANDS of Pandora-like items and not ONE buyer has complained that they thought they were getting a "real" Pandora brand item ... NOT ONE. BECAUSE I made a HUGE point of explaining that it is not Pandora or any other brand name.

Listia mods should NOT be permitted to shut down listings unless the seller is clearly trying to defraud bidders by allowing them to believe that their item IS a Pandora brand bead, necklace, whatever... And people who constantly flag anyone who is competing with them should LOSE their flagging privileges.

I totally agree with you, nothing is really free here, because you have to buy things to be able to list them here and then get credits for and get more things with your credits. I sold several pandora style bracelets here but I stated that are not authentic and didn't have any complaints about the authenticity. I don't know what is the issue, suddenly they wake up more "decent" than usual! :/

Yup, all of us sellers say that are Pandora style items are not authentic, but for some reason this past weekend the moderator started taking them all down. I've sold thousands of Pandora style stuff without any complaints. If you list any more Pandora style stuff, be sure not to mention the word Pandora, regardless of how many times you say it is just the style, and not authentic. It's really annoying.

Now, the moderator has taken down at least one seller's listing when she relisted them describing them as Euro or European style, which is completely generic. That's what I did too, and so far my listings are okay but I have no idea how long they will last.

Several other sellers and I are looking for any other website similar to Listia (maybe a knockoff) that we might want to start using. If you know of any, let me know.

So, you can't use Euro or European style in the item description either. Then, how do you supposed to describe those bracelets? I was planning to list some soon but if will be such a hassle I am not sure now...

My point exactly... I'm still using Euro or European and they haven't taken the listings down yet ... maybe someone gave this moderator the word to STOP deleting auctions that are not breaking any rules. If I were you I'd go ahead and list your stuff using Euro and European charm style. If they do get deleted you can go into your "deleted" link and still copy/paste the text into another listing to try again. Not sure what the alternative is, I mean, bidders have to be able to search for them somehow ...

It seems they are makeing it harder for our listings and im like you thinking something has to change . thanks for your listings all yours are good quiallty and i like them all . good luck to you .we can only hope it will get better. i have a different moderators name if you want it lset me know thanks

That's just not fair. It's just a purse, and a manufacturer is free to make their purse in any style/design they want. ONLY if it has a Coach tag or markings inside of it, when it is NOT a Coach or other designer brand, is that illegal. It is a FREE country, and of COURSE if consumers are willing to pay a lot for a specific style, other manufacturers and retailers are going to sell similar looking items for people who can't or won't pay Coach prices!

I don't know why sites like ebay and now Listia think they can play police on these issues. I agree that they should not allow items to be sold as designer brands if they are not, but to not allow anything that looks like them is absurd and unrealistic. I will bring this to the attention of the moderator I am talking to!
