I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but because you are new you are unable to do a GIN.

You have to have at least 10 auctions completed all with positive feedback in order to get your seller wings badge and be able to do GINs.

Will you be shipping with tracking ?

Okay so a word of advice just cause I don't like skeevy people. That chick who offered you a gin of 2000 was totally trying to take advantage of you being new. When you gin a gift card specifically, never take less than the value times 1000. So absolute lowest you'd want to take is 10k. But you also a percentage taken away and so on using that option which you'll get the hang of as you spend more time here.
Auctioning the way you are is just fine and tends to get you a little more or sometimes less so it's less predictable but you get to keep it all. You're on the right track. People love gift cards :)

Yeah I was going to say that is a very low offer thank god you could not take it because you do not have your wings. Hello a $5 card would be worth at least (6000) 7000 (low)- 15000 credits, thus a $15 maybe 20,000 or 30,000 credits at least. I got burnt and gave some one a $25 gift card for 7,000 credits which was a rip-off.

Yeah you have to complete five auction with feedback before you can do a GIN and $1 gift cards go for more than 2000 credits. 2000 credits is the lowest you can GIN something period so that is a hint right there. Also it does not matter what the gift card is for or even the condition and sometimes even the amount. I have done five auctions only all gift cards and some were not in the greatest condition. The lowest being slightly over $1.50 and the most worth $60

Yes they can go for almost triple the amount but I also see them going just over the matched amount times 1k or rarely less. I don't bid when it's over twice the amount because that's absurd to me but more power to the people that do. But it really depends on the store it's to as well. Some places people just go nuts for.
