FIRST photo shows the gorgeous color of these beads, SECOND photo shows the STYLE of the earrings you will receive ... crystals above and below the European charm style bead (not the stardust beads shown in the first photo). I used the first photo because I could NOT get the color to show properly in my new photos, but the earrings you will win are that same GORGEOUS pale lavender. Purples are a BEAR to photograph! But they are SUCH gorgeous beads and actually reflect almost any color purple you wear!

This stunning pair of faceted lavender (I'd call it an Alexandrite color) earrings also have sterling ear wires. The beads are costume jewelry versions of the P-word brand I am no longer allowed to mention, these beads have cores marked 925. The earrings are new, never worn, made just for Listia!

The last dozen or so photos show some of the MANY P-word/Euro charm style beads, bracelets and earrings I have on Listia ... including many GORGEOUS silver spacers that really make these bracelets sing. I'll tell you how right you are: both of my kids are going off to college this week, one on the 14th the other on the 19th ... I will be an empty nester for the first time! Plus, they are both home together for just this week, and their bickering drives me crazy! And this has been a huge year of transition for us, changes that are good though. Many long-time sellers, including myself, have been treated very badly by a moderator known as ListiaTy in the past two days. If you have also been a victim, I invite you to comment. I am trying to find a Listia executive I can contact, but might not be able to do that. If you have an e-mail for a Listia owner, please let me know.

I am not sure I am willing to continue for much longer with Listia. I don't mind dealing with all the children and irresponsible adults on Listia, but when moderators start acting the same way, it leaves me sad and discouraged.

UPDATE: The moderator and I have been having what I hope will be a productive exchange or correspondence. I recommend that anyone whose listing is removed submit a ticket to DEMAND to know why, specifically, their listing was removed.

My hope is that this issue will encourage Listia to remove any benefits for flagging (i.e. the badges and leaderboard standings) and require moderators to explain why a listing was removed each time they do so. Also, I think Listia needs to pay or compensate moderators in some way so they can more effectively hold them accountable.

If you have any other suggestions, please post them here or on one of my other listings and I will pass them on.

Pandora is a brand name of the European charm style beads, bracelets, etc. Everyone on Listia has been using the work Pandora to describe the beads, and suddenly Listia deleted them all about two weeks ago. They deleted 21 of my listings in one night with no warning, even though my listings clearly said they were Pandora style and were not Pandora or any other name brand~~and the vast majority of sellers made exactly the same distinction (i.e. they weren't trying to sell them as the brand name items).

It just really PO'd everyone, they should at least have told us that, by a certain date, they would be deleting any auctions with the word Pandora in them. I made a HUGE stink about it. It is in no way illegal to state that your items are similar to, or will fit, Pandora jewelry.

So, now everyone just describes them generically as Euro or European charm beads. At first Listia said they would remove those listings too, but I really gave them a hard time and they changed their mind.

Listia has always been careful not to allow brand names in auctions for purses (handbags) and I think they decided to take action in the jewelry category. I saw one moderator questioning someone who was selling a simple piece of costume jewelry, so I think in large part the moderators don't really know what they are doing. I know web sites have to patrol items being peddled as designer fashions, but it seems crazy to not be able to say that your items is similar. It made me furious at the time, but I had two daughters to take to college in the past week or so, so I've been too busy to really worry about it too much.

I've changed the language in all of my listings, comments don't seem to matter, just titles and descriptions. So, just be careful about designer items, if it isn't a designer item you can't campare it by brand name.

If it is authentic, yes, you can list it, no problem! Just be sure to show photos that prove its authenticity (inner tag, etc).

A lot of people bid right at the end. My advice is to bid as much as you are wlling to pay. Then, if you get outbid, you won't be upset. Most of my Pandora style beads end Get It Now, but things have been a little slow the last few weeks so you might get some bargains on Sunday and Monday nights!
