They have never been used with the keys. I have windows 7 and I thought they would work but would not. So to answer your question no they have not.

Don’t you need the first Sims 2 to play any of its expansions? Are they expansions or each their own game?

The Deluxe 2 does include The first Sims 2 so I would see no reason they all would not work. I have not played them due to the wrong windows system but I did research on the web and found nothing that states they wont work.
