Wouldn’t it be great if you could use your NintendoDS like a portable media center? Wouldn’t it be good to listen to your mp3s, watch videos and see your holiday photos on it?
Guess what. You can. All you need is this little device called the R4DS (or R4 Revolution). The R4 should be an essential component for every DS owner to enhance their experience.
The R4DS works as an adaptor for your DS to transfer data with a MicroSD card, the type you might use in a digital camera or mobile phone (not included in thhis auction).
First you need to put your applications and files on your SD card from your computer. Following that, simply plug your SD card into the R4, then the R4 into your Nintendo DS. Then you can use whatever files and applications are stored on the SD card in your NDS.
The applications can be downloaded from the Internet for free. The types of applications you can expect range from music players, image viewers and calculators to card games and homemade platform games.
On top of this, using the R4DS, you can back-up all your current DS games onto an SD card.
The R4DS is NOT illegal (you can buy them from Amazon).

NOTE: This particular Flash Cart will only work for the DS and the DS Lite, not DSi or 3DS.
ALSO: A MicroSD card is NOT the same as a MicroSDHC. This uses a MicroSD ONLY (2 GB or less).

The first two photos are of what you'll be receiving, BRAND NEW IN PACKAGE. The second two photos are of my DS with an R4i that I've been using for years. The difference between the R4 that's listed and the R4i that's in my personal DS is the size of the MicroSD that is used.

***If GIN is used, I will throw in a 128 MB MicroSD with firmware (holds about 2 games) and a USB MicroSD T-Flash adapter.***

GIN means get it now. There is a credit amount for which you may just get it outright, rather than waiting for the end of the auction and bidding process. If somebody decides that they want the item badly enough, they can click the 'Get It Now' button and the bidding will stop, because they automatically win.

Depending on the size of the MicroSD that you decide to use, you can do a lot with your Nintendo DS.
My personal R4 has about 30 game roms (back-ups) and includes an NES emulator to play the "old school" Super Mario Bros. game and other old school games. I have music videos and mp3's on mine, as well as a .pdf reader. I don't know if I could love my DS so much without this R4 device!!
The winner of this item is in for a real treat! There's so much that you can do with your Nintendo DS or DS-Lite, once you have this and download the free applications/software. The firmware can be found on the website www.r4ds.com

Unfortunately, the only R4 that I have available is the originals. I have one more for future listing. When they're gone, they're gone. I just read that the R4 team has stopped production of these. So there will be no more.

I believe the GIN is set reasonably, considering the following factors:
1.) The last R4 that I listed went for 3342 credits and DID NOT include a MicroSD and USB adapter see here - http://www.listia.com/auction/2236808-r4-revolution-for-ds-ndsl-nds-flash-cart
2.) This is being offered with a MicroSD and USB adapter IF GIN is used.
3.) Nobody else has listed an R4 on Listia at all, for the time that I have been a member.
4.) I only have one more left to list. And when they're gone, they're gone.
