Since they are a 50/50 blend I would call them medium weight.

I just added 2 photos for you to see the bottom; they are a consistent width with ihe pant leg. They do not flare out and they don't gather at the ankle either. I have another pair of these in the same size listed in navy and that listing might have a better picture of the full view of the pants.
