This 2 1/2" tall jointed or articulated kangaroo, or Joey as the Australians call them, is composed of 3 parts which are held together by really, really old paper fasteners. He moves perfectly and needs to be adopted by a good home! His only flaw is a tiny bit of paper missing from his smaller ear...it is hard to see except by magnification. I paid $25.00 for him about 6 years ago but have decided to sell him to pursue other collectibles. The penny shows size comparison. I have checked the printing with a magnifying glass and there are no dots or lines so I don't know what kind of printing was used back then...offset maybe??? The letters REG are on his midsection just under the line that depict his/her pouch.
