@bellamia15 your piercer probably said 18g. Because piercers pierce nostrils with 20g needle but they put in either a 18g or a 16g nose bone. Gauges are going to be in even numbers only. The higher the number the smaller the gauge, the lower the number the bigger the gauge.

To my understanding of knowledge and what you just said yourself the smaller the number the bigger the gauge, so how on earth can you pierce with a 20g and fit a 16 or 18 g any way? my nose was pierced with an 18g and i use 20 g rings thank you for your comment but these ARE 20g bones and positive about the gauge size thank you.

As someone with alot of piercings I can tell you these are not a 20g they are a 22g, they are the smallest thickness of a piercing available.

Wish they are a 18-16g
