I am 5 feet 1 inch...can you estimate the inches either if its above the knee Xinches or is it Xinches below the knee .

I'm 5'3, and with a new hem, it would still be slightly below my knee. Re-hemming would in no way affect the beautiful faux pearl buttons. It is a very lovely dress, BNTags; and would be well worth redoing the hem yourself (if you're a sewer), or even paying someone to do it for you!
