It is so nice to see quality items here. I truly find it hard to believe that people use either half doubles or double crochets in acrylic yarn, single thickness and call it a potholder. You will not burn you hands with these! Congrats! Fabulous auction.

Thank you so very much for this auction!!! I have been searching for this pattern for YEARS now!!! My mother used this pattern to make potholders and she was going to teach it to me, but she got sick and we never did get around to it. She has been gone now for an incredible 14 1/2 years and I have thought about this pattern so many times over these years, just wishing she had had the time to tech it to me! I am MOST DEFINITELY going to try my level best to win this auction! It would be a real blessing to be able to create these as she did so long ago! Wish me luck!!! FW&B
