As its title would suggest, Video Pinball is an electronic representation of traditional pinball action. Just like in real pinball, you must pull down a plunger to release the ball and use your flippers to keep the ball in play as long as you can while aiming for spinners, drop targets and rollover targets. You can even "nudge" the machine a little bit to affect the ball, but be careful not to tilt.
There are four variations of Video Pinball to choose from -- two one-player games and two two-player games. The differences between them are slight. The more difficult levels (games three and four) reset the bumper values between balls rather than let them accumulate as they do in games one and two. In two-player games, players alternate between balls.
Setting the difficulty switch to 'A' affects difficulty by creating additional drain holes at the bottom of the screen.
